BodyK has a rigorous privacy policy that we firmly respect and follow, in every aspect of our business and communications with our clients.
BodyK or any of its affiliates does not collect any personally identifiable information such as social security numbers from our clients, from either our website or app. Clients will have the choice to provide other information like name, address, and phone number, and for that, we will receive a consent to do so.
BodyK will automatically gather information about your visit, the website pages you view, the links you browsed and clicked, and other actions you may have taken on BodyK‘s website and app. We gather anonymous information about your use of our site through cookies. Cookies do not tell us who you are. The purpose of cookies is to gather basic information that your browser sends to every website or app you have visited, such as language, browser type, access times, IP address, and referring website addresses. Another information collected may be the part of the site you are interested in, the length of your stay on each one, and your track and ways of navigation through the website.
If you, as a client, reserve an appointment with BodyK, your basic personal information (name, address, e-mail, phone number) will be gathered and saved in our servers
USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
BodyK will not share personal information you have submitted on our website or app either for Marketing, Sales, or other purposes unless we receive your written permission to do so.
BodyK gathers and uses the personal information you provide to us to fulfill the services you have requested. Amongst those types of communications are: emails, phone calls, direct mail, and any other information or marketing material about our services in your area.
The information we have gathered from you and your browsing through our webpage will serve us to contact you to remind you or confirm your scheduled appointment, answer any of your questions regarding our services, billing or returning payments or to announce you via email or phone, about our next events and screenings close to you.
We might share your basic information like name, email, phone number, and address, with any of our partners and affiliates on the basis of marketing or available services, with your previous consent.
We can share health information about you in response to a court or administrative order, or in response to a subpoena.
We may contact you for fundraising efforts, but you can tell us not to contact you again.
We can use and share your wellness information to run our practice, improve our services to you, and contact you when necessary. We may also use a summary or de-identified data to learn how we may improve our services or create additional service offerings.
BodyK keeps a copy of your wellness questionnaires and information related to the results of your screening for five years from the date the test is performed, and all the above information will be destroyed after said date for our client’s personal privacy.
Some of the services BodyK provides are delegated to providers known as Business Associates or Wellness Specialists. We will provide your information to those of our contractors who require the information to perform certain services on our behalf. For example, to prepare and furnish the final report given to you, or the wellness plan suggested for you. To protect you, we require the Business Associate and their contractors to appropriately safeguard your personal and wellness information.
We must follow the duties and privacy practices described in this notice and give you a copy of it.
We will not use or share your information other than as described here unless you tell us we can in writing. If you tell us we can, you may change your mind at any time. Let us know in writing if you change your mind.

UNSUBSCRIBING OR MAKING CHANGES
BodyK offers its clients their choice for our gathering, use, and sharing of personal information. If you do not want to receive certain communications from third-parties by the time your screening test is performed, you can withdraw from BodyK ’s mailing list writing an email to unsubscribe@bodyk.net
If you have received services from BodyK, you may make changes to your personal information by submitting your request contacting our Customer Service division at bodyknows@bodyk.net or by phone at  +1 844 MY BODYK (+1844 692 6395)
SECURITY
BodyK takes safety procedures to keep our client’s information protected. Our servers have limited access and are backed with specialized technology to avoid unauthorized access. We will let you know promptly if a breach occurs that may have compromised the privacy or security of your information.
CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
BodyK reserve the right to modify the terms of this privacy policy. We will emphasize any changes that we make to the policy to keep our clients’ informed. The new notice will be available upon request, in our office, and on our website.
